It is the perception that a Chamber of Commerce adds value and strength to our rural communities. The Town is spearheading the formation of a Chamber of Commerce here in our community. We, with the help of various interested businesses, are looking to help get this venture off the ground. You may have heard rumblings of this idea for the past couple of months. For those who would like more information, we will be holding an information session on February 9th, 2023 from 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm at the Biggar Community Hall. Refreshments will be provided.

Rick Miller, President of the Kindersley Chamber of Commerce, will be attending to speak to the opportunities a Chamber of Commerce can provide a business and their community as well as answer any questions you may have. His presentation is set to the grim predictions of small-town business without support. The Town of Biggar invites all who are invested in our community to attend this event; townspeople, RMs people, business owners, etc., it takes us all to keep and create the community we all want.

All in-town residential waste collection is on Monday. Please have containers out by 7:30 am. Commercial waste collection is every Tuesday and Friday.

All businesses operating in town must have a valid business license. Invoices will be mailed out in January.
