1ST ANNUAL BIGGAR JOB FAIR
The first Biggar Job Fair went amazingly! The Town will absolutely be holding this event again next year. Thank you to the businesses and community for supporting this event! If you have any problems with your inside or outside water or sewer lines, you must call a plumber. The Town of Biggar is responsible for the maintenance of the water and sewer mains, but not the private water or sewer lines inside or outside of your house.

Recreation Department Seasonal Staff: (2 positions)
Duties include but are not limited to: general maintenance and upkeep of all parks and green spaces. Must have a valid drivers license.
Public Works Seasonal Staff: (2-3 positions)
Duties include but are not limited to: grass cutting, trimming, patching potholes, painting, small equipment operation and maintenance, assisting with water line repairs, line painting, and sidewalk replacement.
Summer Day Camp
Supervisor - 40 hrs/week (1 position) Assistants - 20 hrs/week (4-5 positions) Please include photocopies of First Aid and CPR certificate.
Biggar Aquatic Centre
Assistant Pool Manager (1 position) Full-time Lifeguards/Instructors (3-4 positions) Part-time & Casual Lifeguards/Instructors (4+ positions) Please include photocopies of all current certifications Please indicate assistant manager, full-time, part-time or casual position.
Utility Seasonal Staff: (1 position)
Duties include but are not limited to: Maintenance associated with water and wastewater, assisting with daily work orders, water line disconnection and reconnections and yard maintenance.
Recreation Maintenance
Cemetery (1 position) Duties include but are not limited to: grass cutting and trimming, filling in sunken graves, removal of dead trees, pruning trees, aligning headstones, levelling areas, and other general maintenance. Ability to operate small equipment is an asset. Must have a valid driver’s license.
