The Fire Hall is located at 112 Turnbull Avenue. The Fire Department serves the Biggar Rural District Fire Association consisting of the Town of Biggar, RM of Biggar, RM of Glenside, RM of Rosemount, and the RM of Grandview. Membership of the Fire Department includes a Fire Chief, Deputy Fire Chief, four Captains, and up to 19 Firefighters.
Equipment deployed by the department includes two 1000 gallon pumpers, a 100 foot aerial platform truck, a F550 Rescue Truck, a 300 gallon Brush Truck, and a 3/4 ton Support Truck that also carries 250 gallons of water. We use a UTV for grassfires and support roles.
The 46ft by 140ft four bay Fire Hall was built in 1990 with a two bay addition put on in 2001.
