Residential Recycle Collection
Beginning on March 5, 2015, Biggar households will receive curbside cart collection for recycle materials.
Recycle Collection Zones and Schedule
The Town of Biggar has entered into a 3-year contract with Loraas Environmental Services Ltd. for this service, which will be provided to all residential and multi-residential properties up to four living quarters.
95 US gallon blue recycle carts will be provided to all households as part of the curbside service. These carts will be delivered to each household in late February 2015.
All cardboard trailers and blue recycle bins located throughout Biggar will be removed by the end of March 2015.
The Town of Biggar has been split into East and West Zones for recycling pickup. For all households located on the East Side of Main Street, your pickups will begin on Thursday, March 5, 2015 and will continue every two weeks on Thursday's. For all households that located on the West Side of Main Street, your pickups will begin on March 12, 2015 and will continue every two weeks, also on Thursday's.

A Loraas representative will be contacting all commercial properties and multi-unit residential properties with more than four living quarters in mid January 2015 to assess their recycling needs individually.
